One of my favourite nights out in Hull in 2000 was Monday nights in 2000 was the Fez Club which was promoted as a Gay frinedly night and featured guest DJ's. By far the best of the DJ's from Speed Queen in Leeds was Tin Tin, lovely guy and a great DJ. The Fez club has now been renamed Heaven and Hell but really does not have the same atmosphere.

I got to know some of the girls in the Vixen Rubgy Team in Hull and they invited me as a guest to join them on raucus, gender bending awards night in Blackpool in 2000. Girls certainly know how to have fun.

Leeds is a great city for a night out as a Tranny and I made it a regular Saturday night venue for many years. Paul and Smithy came up all the way from Milton Keynes for a good New Years Night out, they have to come up here to learn how to have a good night out.

Shopping in Manchester with my friend Paul, I had to take a break the Metropole Hotel to take in a really nice compliment when a Big Issue seller told Paul he thought I looked gorgeous. Well I couldn't disagree. Either what I was wearing or my growing confidence shopping was working because I got more compliments that day than ever before.

My friend Joanne in Croydon works a lot with Tranny's proviiding a dressing, makeover and personal shopper service, so she is the perfect person to go shopping with. Here I am in her apartment ready to shop to till we drop.

So many Tranny's think they can just buy a wig and wear it so wrong. Wigs like your own hair need to be cut and styled so that they make the most of you - Jeanette is my lifesaver. So do make sure when you buy a good wig that you sort out a good hair dresser as well who can make sure it shows you off in teh best light. (Wig tip - To reduce volume of the hairpiece, turn upside down and snip at the roots to reduce it by 35% to make it look more realistic)

Holidaying in Brighton at the Marina

2002 I stayed in the Sussex University halls of residence for a week and enjoyed Brightons excellent gay and straight bars, including a day, you guessed it, Shopping and Lunch in the very trendy marina area.
